First Cardio then CARBo
CARBS, most people think they are the enemy BUT (I think) they are actually the best food group & one can NEVER have too many good carbs!
Why are carbs NOT the enemy when there is so much research out there about how there not good for you? – Well as being plant-based for almost 4 year now, I’ve lived off the good kinds of carbs/sugars. The foods which contain the NATURAL sugars are the kinds of healthy foods that you NEED in your life.
I think the best way to eat healthy is something you need to figure out for yourself – what works best for you. However, no matter what diet you follow, one should never cut the good kinds of carbs out of their diet. In fact you NEED carbs because you need the sugars that are from the carbs. FRUIT, leafy vegetables, beans, rice, corn, etc. These are the natural carbohydrates that the body craves. Wonder why we always crave sugary foods? – Because as humans we LOVE sugar!! We can’t help it.

These are some facts from the movie What the Health. I personally follow a HCLF (High Carb Low Fat) diet because this diet works BEST FOR ME! I eat as much as I desire and my body naturally digest the carbohydrates. I believe you are what you eat – so you must fuel your body with the appropriate foods in order to keep you energized throughout the day.
